Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) will become a requirement in Wisconsin on February 7, 2022. This new regulation will require all new CDL drivers, drivers applying for an upgrade in classes, and drivers applying for a School Bus or Passenger endorsement to attend and pass an Entry Level Driver Training course prior to being administered a CDL skills exam.
